Let it be this year Dany.

Undoubtedly Dany has a gift. His fabulous pace and skill make him one of the most exciting League 2 players on his day. Surely with Oakes pulling the strings those days should become more frequent as an enigma finally puts those demons to bed.

This will be a defining season for The Gassman, one where he puts up, or petulance shows up one time too many. So far preseason the signs are typically mixed.

Dany you owe it to yourself to prove that you are one of the finest footballers ever to grace Sincil Bank. With you we can frighten the lives out of our opponents. Without you we will simply move on.

  • I definitely agree that this needs to be the season that he really does the business. There’s no doubt that he has the ability to play at a much higher level than Lincoln – he’s a potential Premiership player if he really gets it together in my opinion. Whether he can is a massive if though.

  • One his day Danny looks almost world class, totally untouchable and unstoppable. The next though, he wouldnt grace a village sunday league team, therein lies the problem. Getting more of the good Danny out and leaving more of the crap Danny behind is a big problem. I agree this season will be very important, not only for him but for the team in general. If he performs more consistently, he will be a useful member of the squad.

  • I think it’s a problem he’s always had and possibly always will. would rangers have let him slip otherwise?

  • I agree with monkey, a possible class act on his day and could turn out to be a great player in the future, hopefully with us.

  • No not Asamoah as Dany can produce the goods. Asamoah never did for Lincoln, although he did do quite well at Shrewsbury.

  • He needs to get at least some level of consistency. On his day he is no less that European class, but too often he plays like a greedy schoolboy.

Pass, Dany, and we will love you for it

  • Dany can do it but I suspect it will be off the bench more opften than not. Great player to have in the last 20 minutes of a game.
